I started my Martial Arts training in 1958, in the little fishing village of Wajema, Japan. Wajema is on the northside of the island of Honshu. My father was Air Force and stationed at that radar base. Little did I know that the Japanese culture would have such an impact on my life: Judo, Kendo, Iaido, Kenjutsu, Aikido, Goju Ryu, Koshu Ryu, and of course Tae Kwon Do (Chung Do Kwon style) just to name a few. Even a little Tai Chi (Yang style) for rounding out the corners.
Through the years, I have found it not only very difficult, but extremely expensive, to find the parts and pieces for restoring the Japanese Swords. So, with this in mind, I started reproducing any and all parts and pieces I could get my hands on. People from all over sent me items to repair or copy. This website shows some examples.
In this way, if you do find a sword blade, like many of my students have, you can repair or fashion it to your personality. This way you don't have to mortgage your home or sell your first born child!
Please take note that all these items are replicas. However, I do buy and sell real antiques as well. I also have several Japanese sword blades for sale often. Please Contact us for swords, pieces, and appraisals.
It is my sole intent to supply you with the best (sho-hin) products to assist you in restoring your Japanese sword.
Respectfully Yours,
Mr. Ben Kreiser, Jr.
Sensei, Min Ryu Shinto Ryu
